How we teach

Four promises we keep.

  1. Cohorts stay small. Small enough that everyone has time to practise and to be heard. Every participant takes a turn, every week.
  2. Feedback is the method, not the extra. Practice sessions are talked through the same day, so good habits form with support rather than on your own.
  3. Ethics comes first, literally. Boundaries, consent and referral are taught in week one and revisited at the end, not added on as a compliance module.
  4. Faculty are practising coaches. Everyone who teaches here still works with clients of their own.

CoachSo what would it look like if you did say no to him?

ClientI don’t know. I’ve never tried.

CoachOkay. Let’s try it now, then.

Example reflection — illustrative, not a real session

Faculty, all still coaching

Morag Ellison, who coaches NHS clinical directors; Daniel Okafor, mid-career engineers; Priya Raman, start-up teams; Callum Reid, independent practitioners; Hélène Marchetti, executives in French and English; and Joanna Wright, people returning after long leave.

They gave me room to get it wrong until I got it right.
